Display Column/Widget Based On User Access Level#2678

A

Show/hide widgets, menu-items, columns based on user access levels, tags, membership groups etc. This is a must for creating a custom user experience in today’s creator ecosystem.

The community update brought some great strides. Because of this update, after seven years with Simvoly, we were finally building our first membership/course site for a client on Simvoly until we realized that it is impossible to natively hide columns, widgets, menu-items etc. based on user access level (member group or paywall access).

Having built over 2000 sites for course creators on (unnamed platforms), this is one of the most frequently utilized features for course creators and community managers. The ability to show a menu item, or even a global column based on user access level is vital to creating custom user journeys and levels of monetization.

Love what Simvoly is doing, but it looks like we’ll have to continue utilizing other platforms for course creators for now. Keep up the good work though!
