Multi-level URL Structures (Subdirectories)#2688

Description: Currently, Simvoly only supports a flat URL structure. Slashes (/) are automatically replaced by hyphens (-). I am requesting the ability to create real subdirectories (e.g., domain.com/category/post-name).

Key Benefits:

– SEO: Clearer hierarchy for search engine indexing.
– User Experience: Better logical navigation in the browser address bar.
– Organization: Essential for larger sites to group related content (e.g., /services/consulting).

I like the flat URL structure as it has several advantages:
(1) It doesn’t matter what folder I move a web page to, the address does not change.
(2) I can link the same page to multiple menues without worrying about the URL structure.
(3) It is especially helpful with building funnels to have a flat URL structure. Pages can end up anywhere. You can’t have linear heirachy restriction when building funnels, and you might want to use a page multiple times in several funnels, in different positions.
(4) If we pubsish a web page URL in a book or on a sign or a QR code, or in a social media post, the URL can be as simple and short as possible and permenant, never needing a 301 redirects to keep it working.

I do wish the web page folders and web pages did not stay stuck in their alphabetical and chronologically created order. I wish web pages could simply be dragged into any order desired within any folder. When it comes to having better organisation of pages I think this should be the priority.

If subdirectories/URLs were added in conjustion with Folders as an OPTION then that would be a good addition, but I would not want to see a structure introduced that forced longer subdirectory URL’s if you didn’t want them applied to your pages.
