Attacment form#2689

Hello,

I’m reaching out to report an issue with file attachments submitted through website contact forms and to request a fix.

I build websites for service businesses. For example, on a tree service website, a customer may visit the Contact Us page and upload an attachment, such as photos of a job they need done. While the business receives the email notification, the attachment itself cannot be opened directly from the email. Instead, the recipient is required to log in to the Simvoly CRM to view the file.

This creates an unnecessary two-step process and adds friction for business owners, especially those who rely on quick access to job photos while on the move. In many cases, this delay impacts response time and overall customer experience.

Ideally, attachments should be included directly in the email or accessible via a secure downloadable link within the email, allowing recipients to open the files immediately without logging into a separate platform.

Please let me know if this is a known limitation or if there is a way to adjust the current behavior. A solution here would significantly improve usability for service-based businesses.

Thank you for your time and support.

Best regards,
Anthony

Agreed. Over 50% of web users are Mobile First. I would be happy with clickable links to the files withing the notification emails that don’t require the recipient to log into Simvoly CRM to access the file, which I imagine is easier to create and would use way less bandwidth that emailing attachments.
