Currently, we already have the option that a user can change the order item quantity during checkout.
However, there is no maximum order quantity limit, so there could be disproportionate qty amounts in one single order line.
In cases where there is high demand for low stock items, it would be helpful to restrict the quantity per item and order.
–> It would be great if we could add a maximum order quantity per item (probably on product detail level, similar to inventory info), with effect on checkout - so if a user selects a number higher than the allowed max. order qty, he will get a notification that max. order qty has been exceeded. Order cannot be submitted until qty has changed to max. qty threshold or below.
