Alert before signing up for multiple accounts or projects#2752

It would be really helpful if the system displayed a confirmation popup whenever someone with an active subscription or existing project tries to start a new one. Something simple like:

“You already have an active subscription or project associated with this account. Are you sure you want to create another one?”

Or:

“You are about to start a new subscription/project while another one is active. Click Yes to continue.”

We’re seeing users sign up for multiple subscriptions or create multiple projects under the same email address, often on the same day or within a few days of their original signup. I suspect this happens because they’re testing different website or funnel templates and don’t realize they’re creating entirely new subscriptions/projects each time.

This later creates confusion when they’re billed for multiple subscriptions or receive “expired” notices on one project while another is still active. A simple warning or confirmation step could likely prevent a lot of accidental duplicate signups and customer confusion.
